Stuff The Geeklet Six Will Actually Eat:

  • Chocolate pudding.
  • The outer 1/3 of any given apple.
  • Chocolate milk.
  • Tuna noodle casserole, minus the tuna.
  • Chocolate ice cream.
  • Bubblegum.
  • Chocolate sandwich cookies.
  • Red beans and rice, as long as it’s mostly rice.  With butter.
  • Chocolate pie.
  • The occasional piece of dry dog food.
  • Chocolate brownies, with or without chocolate icing.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
  • Bananas, but strings and/or brown spots are unacceptable.
  • Chocolate chips.
  • Dry Cap’n Crunch cereal, no milk.  Cocoa Puffs are even better.
  • Chocolate bars.
  • Cheesy broccoli, minus the broccoli.
  • Chocolate popsicles.  (Fudgesicles?)

This might be a good time to mention all the wonderful health benefits of chocolate.  Not only does chocolate contain cancer-fighting antioxidants, but it also contains caffeine, which has it’s own list of health benefits.  The flavonoids in chocolate can lower both blood-pressure and the bad LDL cholesterol; it also contains substances which increase endorphin and serotonin production, which have an anti-depressant effect.  Caffeine raises dopamine levels in the brain, making it another natural anti-depressant; it lowers the risk of developing heart problems, diabetes, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.  It increases memory, detoxes the liver, cleanses the colon, increases stamina and hair growth, and even wards off eyelid spasms.  Not kidding!

(And, no, I’m not including any of my references, because this is a blog, not a research paper.  Learn to Google.)

As a mom who cares about her kids’ health, I feel good about the Geeklets’ diet.  A diet comprised mostly of chocolate and chocolate-containing foods will ensure that my kids will grow up to be cancer-free, un-diabetic, happy adults with good blood-pressure and LDL cholesterol levels, no heart problems, excellent memories, high stamina levels, super clean livers and colons, lots of hair, and absolutely no eyelid spasms.  Yes!!  I’m a great mom.
